TERMS OF SERVICE · 30 SEPTEMBER 2026
Clear terms for every audiobook project.
These terms describe the Narrate service. They are a practical starting point and should be reviewed by a qualified lawyer before public launch.
The service
Narrate provides a managed audiobook-generation service. An enquiry or estimate is not a binding production commitment. We confirm scope, price, delivery expectations, and any special requirements before production begins.
Your content and permissions
You keep ownership of your manuscript and finished audio, subject to any rights held by others. You must own the work or have the permission, licence, and voice consent required to submit it, convert it into audio, and share it. Do not submit infringing, unlawful, or unauthorised content.
Custom voices
You may only submit a voice sample for yourself or a person who has given clear permission for the requested use. We may request additional confirmation before creating or using a custom voice.
Quotes, payment, and delivery
Word-count estimates are guides, not final quotes. Final pricing can vary with manuscript condition, requested voice, revisions, and production scope. Delivery timing begins after project approval and any agreed payment requirements are met.
Sharing and availability
Audiobooks are private by default. If you create or receive a share link or QR code, anyone with it may be able to listen. You are responsible for where you distribute it and for the rights required for that audience.
Contact and changes
For questions, removal requests, or a rights concern, use the Contact page. We may update these terms as the service develops; material updates will be posted here.
